Degree in Law cum laude. Master for Legislative Advisors held by ISLE (Institute for documentation and LEgislative Studies)
Attorney admitted to the Italian Supreme Courts and the European Court of Justice.
He is member of the Management Board of OIC (Italian Accounting Body), of the Commission for tax rules of conduct of AIDC (Association of Italian Chartered Accountants), of the International Taxation Commission of the Body of Chartered Accountants of Rome, of the T-BAG Group (Tax Barriers Advisory Group) appointed by the EU Commission. He was member of the OIC Commission for coordination of tax law with IAS\IFRS accounting principles, of the EU/OCDE workgroup "Improving Procedures for Tax Relief", of the FISCO (Clearing and Settlement FIScal COmpliance) experts group appointed by the EU Commission, of the Piazza Finanziaria Italiana Technical Committee instituted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as of the Commission instituted by the Ministry of Finance for the reform of financial incomes taxation (d.lgs. n. 461/1997). Advisor for trade organizations. He is author of numerous publications about tax issues and he is lecturer of Tax Law at the University LUISS Guido Carli in Rome, as well as at the Higher School of Economics and Finance.
Main area of practice: taxation of banks, financial intermediaries and insurance companies, taxation of financial and insurance instruments, taxation of company reorganizations, international taxation and transfer pricing, anti-tax avoidance rules and abuse of law, EU Law rules concerning State aids, assistance in highly complex rulings procedures, as well as tax inspections and assessments.
